Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and process payments using the POS system
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any queries or concerns
- Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible drinking
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience in serving or bartending roles will be considered a plus, but a friendly attitude and willingness to learn are most important
