The Role
As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality aerospace components. You'll work with precision engineering drawings to ensure all parts meet strict quality and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming CNC machines using Fanuc or Siemens controls.
- Setting and operating CNC lathes or milling machines.
- Manufacturing precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment.
- Optimising machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a CNC Programmer is essential.
- Experience programming Fanuc or Siemens controls.
- Experience with CNC Lathes or CNC Milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience working to tight tolerances.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday.
- Full-time hours.
