Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various tasks within our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general maintenance tasks around the site, including cleaning and organising work areas.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople as required.
- Operate basic machinery and tools safely under supervision.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning discussions.
- Report any issues or hazards to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices on construction sites is preferred.
- A willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
