Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to ensuring environments are hygienic, safe, and welcoming. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous cleaning experience.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are cleaned to the highest standards
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to management promptly
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and ensure proper storage after use
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and reliability
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for the 2 hour duration cleaning period.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards and safety protocols
