Chef de Partie Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at Thirteen in Parkstone, Poole. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with the ability to prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to perfection, adhering to our standards of food safety and presentation.
Duties
- Managing any given section to the required standards
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation and ensure timely service of dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest quality of food is served
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols
Experience
- Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant setting
- Culinary experience with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is required
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in a collaborative environment
The salary will be from £26, 400 per annum. Based on a 45 hour week + share of the gratuities.
