Flexible Bank Role - Days, Nights & Weekends Available
Location: Newark
Pay: £12.71 - £15.11 per hour
Shift Types: 8am - 11pm, 3pm - 11pm, Sleep-ins, 10pm - 8am waking nights (Shift times can vary)

We're Looking For
- Full UK Drivers licence is required along with vehicle accessibility.
- Be aged 21 or over
- A caring, resilient, and positive attitude.
- Attend work reliably and punctually.
- Ability to go wherever service users want to go and participate in all activities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly and easily with young people in a variety of ways.
- Ability to read and understand written work and to write clear and accurate reports.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to different environments.
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Your Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people.
- Build trusting, positive relationships and act as a positive role model.
- Transfer Young People using company car.
- Support daily routines, education, appointments, and recreational activities.
- Promote independence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
- Respond calmly and professionally to challenging behaviours using positive behaviour support techniques.
- Safeguard children and follow all safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Complete accurate daily records and contribute to care plans.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
- Undertake any other additional duties as required, which are relevant to the post.

You must be 21 and over to work in children's homes (Ofsted outlines that all staff working with children and young people within residential care home settings must be 4 years older that the oldest child residing in the home)

Successful candidates must have an online enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain a brand new one.
