Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and fully experienced Commercial Tyre Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial truck tires with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help keep our customers’ fleets moving smoothly while providing outstanding customer service and ensuring safety standards are met.
Duties
- Remove, install, repair, and replace commercial truck tires using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation levels.
- Perform routine maintenance on tire equipment and ensure all tools are in excellent working condition.
- Assist customers by providing expert advice on tire selection, maintenance needs, and safety practices.
- Lift heavy tires safely using proper techniques and equipment to prevent injury.
- Maintain detailed records of all services performed, including tire replacements and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all operations and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a commercial tyre technician or in a similar role within the automotive or trucking industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of tire systems and related components.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and tire mounting equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a daily basis.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients.
- Knowledge of routine maintenance procedures for tire equipment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
