Our client is a reputable engineering design consultancy specialising in delivering high-quality bespoke solutions for residential builds and refurbishments to schools, commercial, and community spaces. They combine technical expertise with a practical approach to meet client needs within a family-friendly team structure. Responsibilities
Leading projects from day one: client contact, site visits, design, and delivery
Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and technicians
Working closely with the MD and senior team to shape the future of the practice
Getting hands-on with design across varied and interesting schemes
Producing calculations, reports, and inspections while collaborating with architects, contractors, and homeowners
Requirements
Chartered or near-Chartered (IStructE or ICE)
Strong technical ability across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
Confident communicator and proactive project lead
A hands-on engineer who enjoys variety and challenge
Keen to contribute to a growing company — with potential for near-future Directorship
Proficient in structural design software (AutoCAD preferred)
