Duties
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out construction tasks
- Perform bricklaying and masonry work with precision and attention to detail
- Assist with carpentry tasks, including framing, fitting, and finishing work
- Conduct roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance as required
- Operate welding equipment safely for metal fabrication and repairs
- Follow project specifications and safety protocols throughout all activities
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work site, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored
Experience
- Proven experience in masonry, bricklaying, carpentry, roofing, or welding is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised construction equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans effectively
- Previous experience working on construction sites or in related trades will be advantageous
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
