The Senior Software Engineer role is designed for individuals with solid technical proficiency and growing expertise in key areas of software engineering. This position is for individuals ready to take on more ownership of software components and features, lead smaller technical efforts, and contribute significantly to the team’s and projects' success.
Reporting directly to a Principal Software Engineer, the Senior Software Engineer is part of the Global Digital Technology team responsible for developing and maintaining the websites and APIs that enable our brands to engage with their consumers and deliver elevated digital experiences. This role provides opportunities to mentor junior team members, work more autonomously, and make architectural decisions within defined areas of responsibility, while collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders and technologies.
Make an Impact
Own the design, architecture, and implementation of assigned modules.
Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable, high-quality software features and components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective technical solutions aligned with business needs.
Support and mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.
Design and implement scalable, maintainable software solutions and feature enhancements.
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the technology stack.
Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver business-focused outcomes.
Develop and maintain automated testing and support CI/CD processes for reliable deployments.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and API specifications.

Your Talent and Skills
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript, Python) and frameworks.
Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles (e.g., SOLID).
In-depth knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js).
Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and understanding of cloud-native application design.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems like Git.
Experience with using Github Copilot or similar AI assisted software development tools
