Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Cleaner to join our team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, retail spaces, and other commercial facilities according to specified standards
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and other surfaces to ensure clarity and presentation
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in accordance with environmental policies
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines to management
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of standard cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management
This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, are punctual, organised, and committed to maintaining a clean environment. Prior experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning will be considered an asset but is not mandatory for application.
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
