Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Wall and Floor Tiler to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing tiles on walls and floors in a variety of New Build Sites. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of tiling techniques to ensure high-quality finishes. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and ensuring they are suitable for tiling
- Measure and mark out areas according to schematics and project specifications
- Cut tiles accurately using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Lay tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces following technical drawings and schematics
- Apply adhesive or mortar evenly to ensure secure placement of tiles
- Grout joints between tiles to achieve a neat finish, ensuring proper sealing and waterproofing
- Maintain a clean work area by clearing debris and excess materials regular
Skills
- Proven construction experience specialising in tiling or similar trade skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels and cutters
- Familiarity with power tools used in tiling including wet saws and drills
- Ability to interpret instructions accurately and follow safety protocols diligently
- Organised with excellent attention to detail to deliver precise results within deadlines
