We have an exciting opportunity for a Administrator to join our Administration team at HMP Wakefield a category A Prison located in Wakefield.
HMP Wakefield is a maximum security male prison with a capacity of around 630 inmates. We are looking for an experienced Administrator to support the wider healthcare team. This role will be heavily focused within the Mental Health Administration team, experience using SystemOne will be beneficial.
Interviews will be taking place on Thursday 20th August on site.
Hours
Monday to Friday - 0800 - 1600
One early start per week at 0730 - 1530
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £28,575 per annum

As an Administrator your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site
- Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks.
- Working on SystemOne
- Booking appointments.
- Dealing with referrals.
- Organising gate passes for visitors
- Attending meetings and taking minutes
- Other general admin duties

Qualifications required
- English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
- Experience using SystmOne (desireable)
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent communication skills
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
