Main Responsibilities
- Working with Design, Production and Commercial Teams to coordinate the flow of projects through Carpenter Oak.
- You will support the day-to-day management of our large carpentry team, ensuring the smooth running of projects through robust planning, calm focus and exceptional organisation.
- Act as a primary point of contact for our clients and their agents (architect, engineer, main contractor), building strong relationships and providing customer service in line with Company values and culture.
- Co-ordinate project workflow from sales handover through to installation on site, using CRM and company systems.
- Co-ordinate the design development phase, ensuring client briefs are delivered effectively and within agreed timelines. Provide project task support to the Design team.
- Co-ordinate project procurement with Project Manager and Accounts, within project budget, ensuring timely purchasing and alignment with company systems.
- Work with Project Manager to update project programmes, communicating effectively to internal staff/departments and externally to clients and their agents.
- Work with Commercial Manager to update costs throughout project lifecycle, communicating with clients as required.
- Co-ordinate pre-site logistics, liaising with Team Leaders, H&S and Lifting Operations Manager.
- Undertake all booking and hiring requirements for site installation, and manage relationship with suppliers.
- Co-ordinate project briefings and de-briefs.
- Support the Project Manager with the glazing team’s workload, production schedule, and procurement of materials.
- Co-ordinate post-installation close down of projects.
Knowledge and experience:
- A genuine passion for timber, architecture, and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Knowledge of timber construction.
- Previous experience working on design-led construction projects, ideally with a focus on bespoke or architecturally driven builds.
- Confident understanding of architectural language and construction terminology, with the ability to interpret and work with architectural drawings.
- Familiarity with construction project stages (RIBA or equivalent) is desirable.
- High proficiency in the use of Excel, Project Management software, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
- Prior experience in a similar role or within a relevant sector (e.g., architecture, timber framing, bespoke construction) is highly beneficial.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the confidence to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
- A proactive and positive approach, with a strong desire to contribute to the success of each project and the wider business.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and able to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic about working within a collaborative and values-led team, combining professionalism with a flexible and solution-focused mindset.
