Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Fitter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets safety standards, quality expectations, and client specifications. Duties
- Measure window openings accurately using schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise fitting.
- Install new windows, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and insulation for optimal energy efficiency.
- Remove old or damaged windows carefully, minimizing damage to surrounding structures.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and secure window components.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to meet safety and building codes.
- Collaborate with other trades such as roofing, carpentry, masonry, and electrical teams to coordinate project timelines.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly.
Experience
- Proven experience in window fitting or related construction roles with a strong understanding of building processes.
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, plastering, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, and construction painting is highly desirable.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, levels, and measuring tapes.
- Experience working with schematics and technical drawings for precise installations.
- Familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, grinders, and sanders.
- Ability to read construction plans and interpret technical specifications accurately.
- Prior experience working on residential or commercial construction sites is preferred.

Pay: £25,420.00-£37,440.00 per year
