We are currently recruiting FULL TIME, PART TIME & BANK SUPPORT WORKERS to work with our client who has a spinal cord injury living in their own home in the Fleckney area of Leicester. His interests include chess, going to the cinema, theatre, board games and meals out, he is also a season ticket holder for Leicester City Football Club. Similar interests could be an advantage but not essential.
Previous experience working with Spinal Cord Injury clients would be preferable but not essential.
Support Worker Duties:
You will be working within an energetic and dedicated team on a rota basis.
You will be working on a 1:1 basis with our client to ensure their complex personal care and welfare needs are met.
You must have an enthusiastic personality and positive outlook on life, a caring attitude with the flexibility to work shifts as part of a team.
Hours of Work:
34 hours per week - Full time
17 hours per day - Part time
7am to Midnight
Monday to Sunday
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check WILL be required.
A full UK driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive our client's vehicle.
Rates of Pay:
£14.00 per hour – Monday to Friday (7pm - 12am paid at £15.00 per hour) upon successful completion of competencies and training.
£15.00 per hour – Saturday & Sunday (7pm - 12am paid at £16.00 per hour) upon successful completion of competencies and training.
£12.71 per hour – Training rate
