Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within private homes, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Previous experience in janitorial or hotel cleaning is advantageous, and a friendly attitude towards clients is essential. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all rooms are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation
- Clean kitchens and bathrooms, including appliances and fixtures
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organising clothing and linens
- Restock supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues or damages
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Occasionally assist with light cooking or meal preparation for clients if required
- Provide excellent customer service by respecting clients’ privacy and preferences
Requirements
- Previous experience in domestic cleaning, janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Friendly demeanour with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to different client needs and schedule shouldn’t
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking experience, which can be beneficial for certain roles or client requests
