We are looking for a passionate and energetic manager from a hospitality background to manage one of our stores in Manchester
Bean Coffee is an independent coffee roaster based in the Northwest, with stores throughout Liverpool ,Greater Manchester, Leeds and Edinburgh . We focus on quality, people, and sustainability.
We roast our award-winning coffee in our roastery on Brunswick Dock, Liverpool. All our coffee is sourced from independent farms across Africa, South America, and Asia, ensuring traceability. This also means that we can guarantee all our beans are sustainably and ethically produced.
What are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate is passionate about the coffee industry, professional, and is a people person that can communicate effectively at all levels while delivering a fantastic customer experience in a high-volume store.
We are a friendly and high-spirited company, which is an attribute we look for when hiring manger to run stores. We look for managers who can inspire and lead a team from the front, encouraging a fun yet professional workplace.
We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar role with transferrable skills and great drive to adapt their approach to the needs of the business as they see fit. This person should also have good knowledge of stock control, epos software and the need for financial accountability.
About the role…
Our store managers look after the overall day to day running of a busy store with multiple sections.
As a coffee roaster, our main focus is great coffee. Managers are expected to make sure coffee is prepared to the highest standards, maintaining consistent latte art and exceptional espresso.
Our managers are responsible for managing and developing their teams, by delivering appropriate training, coaching and support.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Stock ordering, and controls
- Adhering to food and hygiene safety legislation, always
- Rota management
- Support marketing activities
- Monitoring quality standards throughout the store
- Continuously work towards improving sales and service
