Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide excellent guest services throughout their visit
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery
- Assist with food safety and cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations
- Support food preparation tasks as needed to ensure efficient service flow
- Manage tables efficiently by clearing, resetting, and attending to guest needs promptly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and POS systems
- Maintain a tidy and organized front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house teams
- Demonstrate excellent time management to handle multiple tables and tasks effectively
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food handling practices
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks when necessary
- Good understanding of basic math for handling transactions and managing orders
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food operations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
