About the Role:
This is a hands-on warehouse position focused on the Goods In, Stock Control, and Order Fulfilment processes. You will play a key role in making sure products are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Goods In & Stock Control
- Receive and inspect all incoming deliveries, checking for accuracy and damage
- Accurately book goods into the stock system following inspection
- Locate items into designated storage areas ensuring traceability and easy retrieval
- Report any damages or discrepancies to the Supervisor/Manager for resolution
Order Picking & Fulfilment
- Pick customer order items with speed and precision, preparing them for packing and dispatch
- Prioritise picking based on delivery schedules and customer deadlines
- Support the packing team with accurate handover of picked items
Stock Replenishment
- Monitor and top-up main pick locations from overflow storage
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and assist with inventory accuracy
Loading & Unloading
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Ensure proper handling of all goods, using safe manual handling techniques
Warehouse Safety & Housekeeping
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Comply with all health and safety procedures and company policies
- Ensure work areas are tidy and that equipment is used responsibly
About You:
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Proactive and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Team player with good communication skills
Working Hours:
- 42.5 hours per week (flexibility between 07:00 and 17:00)
- Monday to Friday (Weekends with advanced notice)
