Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure timely delivery of their favorites
- Maintain strict food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and sanitation procedures
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling pastries or snacks to complement beverages
- Manage cash register operations with basic math skills to handle transactions efficiently
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and stocked to ensure smooth daily operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality
Experience
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Serving experience that demonstrates excellent customer interaction skills
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail
- Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
