We have an exciting position for someone who is enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing, professional and highly motivated, We are looking for a receptionist with great customer service skills to join our team in our busy West Kensington salon! We are looking for those who can truly build relationships with clients and oversee front of house operations with control and confidence.

A-List Lace Hair is a leading independent top end hair studio in West Kensington. We specialise in non surgical hair replacement systems, Lace wigs and Hair extensions.
As a family run enterprise its fast, friendly and down-to-earth attitude has clients coming back time after time. Established in 2008, the hair salon already has a loyal and dedicated clientele, including many VIP clients. High standards of customer service and professionalism are top on the list of priorities, but a relaxed, fun atmosphere is also a key ethos of the salon. Our clients always come first and we want to ensure they enjoy the full salon experience in a modern, design led environment.
Front of House Consultant Duties:
- Welcoming customers in to the studio
- Answering the phone and dealing with new and returning customer enquiries
- Booking and confirming appointments via phone and email.
- Serving refreshments and chat with clients about services and products.
- Sales: Assisting customers in choosing a wig
- Process transactions and issue receipts
- Inform assigned stylists when the client is ready to fit their wig
- Helping the salon manager with administrative tasks and helping to maintain the salon appearance and a tidy reception area.
- Helping e-commerce team pack and fulfill online orders when necessary
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Solid organization and record-keeping skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with total customer focus and understanding of the client journey
- Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems
- Enthusiasm, ambition, drive, confidence, and professionalism with a ‘can- do’ attitude
- Proven ability to multi-task and maintain a flexible approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A hands-on approach, and be prepared to lead by example
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining all salon standards
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Has experiance with E-coms and online sales
- Has the confidence to provide consultations to clients when needed
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE as a receptionist in the HAIR or BEAUTY industry is helpful but we would also consider those without.
18+ hrs a week: Wednesday and Thursdays (Potential Saturdays)
Pay from £15 p/h
