Busy Little Bees Nursery (previously Honey Pot House) are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages the development and growth of young children.
Duties
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, fostering children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's achievements and needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in childcare practices.
- Support children’s individual needs through effective communication and tailored approaches to learning.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
- Previous nursery experience is highly desirable, along with practical experience working with children in a childcare setting.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
