The Fish Society is the UK’s leading online fishmonger delivering high-quality frozen seafood to customers in their own homes nationwide. We have been trading for over 25 years and have supplied over 100,000 homes around the UK.
The primary role of this job will be warehouse based with a responsibility for freezer maintenance, goods in and goods out. There will also be driving responsibilities to deliver customer orders and collect product.
Typical responsibilities:
Primary: Freezer, goods in / goods out, mixed warehouse and fish production
Secondary: Driving
- Checking in frozen and fresh stock into the warehouse and stock system
- Taking responsibility for the freezer and making sure it is orderly and compliant
- Assisting with the dispatch of customer orders
- Packing fresh and frozen fish
- Delivering frozen and chilled goods to various clients
- Maintain records of all deliveries / collections.
- Inspect the vehicle regularly and report any faults, damages or issues to the Operations coordinator.
- Prepare deliveries and order paperwork
Other points of note:
- Assisting other areas of the fish society when not doing deliveries, such as helping in the wet room (processing fish), dispatch (helping to produce total number of parcels for the day) & other daily operations that require assistance.
- Our location on Henley business park isn't serviced by public transport, please bear this in mind.
- You must hold a valid CAT B UK driving license.
