Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Swimming Pool Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and maintenance services for swimming pools and hot tubs. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. The Service Engineer will work closely with both internal teams and customers to ensure optimal performance of equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various plant room equipment and dosing systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Install new equipment and ensure proper functionality.
- Provide training and support to customers on the use of products.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product designs based on customer feedback.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all service activities.
- Working throughout the UK on new pool installations including liners, skimmers and sumps
- Installing filtration systems and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, including repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery processes and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical support as a service technician during equipment failures or emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks
- Work with the engineering project management team to plan, implement and complete Projects.
- Organise appropriate resource to complete project work.
- Complete plumbing works, including dead leg removal, re-arranging tank inlets, replacing ball cocks, replacement and pipe work insulation
- Work on filtration overhaul projects.
- Ensure all project handover paperwork is completed in communication with the administration department.
- Produce and issue site specific risk assessments and follow method statements for agreed

Experience
- ISPE qualifications preferable
- Proven experience in a similar role is essential.
- Strong understanding of water chemistry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is advantageous.
