Job Overview
We are seeking qualified pharmacy dispensers to join our team in Harrow. Duties
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
- Assisting with medication administration and patient counselling
- Managing stock levels and ensuring the organisation of medication supplies
- Providing advice on over-the-counter medicines and health products
- Maintaining precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions
- Ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards within the pharmacy environment
- Supporting the pharmacy team with administrative tasks as required
Requirements
- Proven pharmacy technician experience or relevant qualification recognised within the UK healthcare sector
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
- Strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- A recognised qualification in pharmacy services or dispensary practice is desirable but not essential for all roles
