We are looking for an enthusiastic LGV dray driver to join our existing dray team.
Woodforde's Brewery is nestled in the picturesque village of Woodbastwick, Norfolk. We have been hand crafting exceptional beers since 1981. A pivotal moment in our history unfolded in 1996 when our renowned Wherry bitter earned the prestigious title of CAMRA Supreme Champion Beer of Britain. We brew a range of cask, keg, bottle and can beers that are delivered directly throughout East Anglia.
Must be well presented, polite and courteous to customers and be able to build strong working relationships with our customer base. Our dray drivers are ambassadors for Woodforde’s.
Pre-departure vehicle checks.
Picking stock from warehouses and loading vehicles in a secure manner.
Unloading stock at customer locations and placing into customer cellars.
Collecting empty casks and kegs.
Cash handling.
Accurate completion of all deliveries using our app.
The role will be physically demanding.
Full clean UK driving licence, with at least 3-5 years delivery driver experience.
Confident & competent driving a 7.5 tonne lorry.
Category C1 LGV driving licence essential (Class 3 vehicle).
CPC qualification (with a minimum of 12 months left).
Heavy lifting involved so you must be physically fit.
Ability to work & deliver both independently and as part of a team.
Forklift licence would be advantageous, but full training can be provided.
This is a full-time position, Core hours Monday – Friday (40 hours) 06:00 – 14:30. Some overtime maybe required. Occasional Saturdays near Bank Holidays maybe required.
