The Role
The in-house trainer will be delivering MHE and other training across all depots. This role involves working within the training team to ensure all training requirements are met and the successful candidate will have a responsibility to ensure training is delivered to a high standard.
We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our training team, based at our Newport depot.
The successful candidate will be required to travel to our other depot locations as part of the role. In addition to supporting operational activities, the position will involve administrative responsibilities and contributing to the review, development, and continuous improvement of our training programmes and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver formal training and workplace coaching to employees, both on-site and within a classroom or training environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Support the Operations Training Manager with administrative tasks relating to training delivery and compliance.
- Provide regular feedback to the Operations Training Manager, highlighting any concerns, risks, or opportunities for improvement.
- Identify and promote opportunities to enhance safety, operational performance, and training effectiveness.
- Actively engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills.
- Be willing to upskill and gain additional qualifications to deliver a wider range of training programmes in line with the evolving needs of the business.
Required Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Full UK Driving Licence and own transport
Required Experience:
- RTITB Accredited Instructor.
- RTITB-accredited training and operational experience in the following: High Level Order Picker (HLOP), Low Level Order Picker (LLOP), Forklift Truck (FLT), WAVE, and Counterbalance trucks.
- Proven experience of facilitating and delivering learning to adults in a workplace environment, supported by relevant training or teaching qualifications.
- Knowledge and experience of assessment and qualification processes.
- Experience of managing training course administration and maintaining accurate qualification and compliance records.
Ideally will have experience in the following but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate:
- Health and safety
- Fire Safety
- First aid at work
Pay: From £34,000.00 per year
