Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated cook to join our culinary team, predominantly for breakfast service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering high-quality meals. Applicants should have a solid understanding of food safety standards and previous experience working in restaurant settings. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning and suggest new ideas to enhance the dining experience
- Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all aspects of food preparation and service
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience with meal preparation across diverse cuisines is desirable
- Previous experience serving customers in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and hygiene standards essential for this role
