We are a family run company providing contract and domestic flooring throughout Leicestershire.
This role combines showroom-based sales with in-home estimating and measuring, providing customers with expert advice from first enquiry through to completed installation.
The position involves:
- Welcoming and assisting customers in the showroom, providing expert advice on flooring products including carpet, LVT and vinyl
- Understanding customer needs, budgets, and design preferences to recommend suitable flooring solutions
- Building strong relationships with customers to ensure an excellent buying experience
- Following up on enquiries and quotations to maximise sales conversion
- Carrying out accurate on-site measurements at customers homes
- Preparing detailed and accurate quotations, including materials, fitting, and any additional works
- Processing orders and maintaining accurate records
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Full UK driving licence
- A minimum of 3 years previous experience in flooring sales/installation required.
- Strong knowledge of flooring products, including carpet and LVT
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
In addition, the successful candidate will be of smart appearance, be reliable and trustworthy and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Due to the sales nature of this position, you will be required to work 5 days per week including every Saturday 9am – 5pm. However, you would not be required to work Sundays, Bank Holidays or late evenings. In return, we offer a competitive salary, a paid holiday allowance and use of a company vehicle.
