Entry-Level Management Trainee
Bristol | Full-Time | In-Person Role
Are you looking to build a long-term career in sales and leadership while contributing to a campaign that makes a genuine difference?
Our client is recruiting an Entry-Level Management Trainee to support live fundraising campaigns focused on cancer awareness, research funding, and long-term supporter acquisition. This opportunity is designed for individuals who want more than an entry-level sales role — it offers structured development in performance management, team leadership, and campaign operations.
You will begin by mastering the fundamentals of face-to-face fundraising before progressing into training, mentoring, and team support responsibilities. From day one, you’ll be introduced to how campaigns are structured, measured, and improved.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of your development, you will:
- Represent a national cancer charity campaign at live events and promotional sites
- Engage members of the public in educational conversations about early detection, research funding, and patient care services
- Secure new regular supporters to help fund ongoing research, specialist support teams, and treatment innovation
As your experience develops, your responsibilities will expand to include:
- Learning how daily and weekly performance metrics are tracked and reviewed
- Supporting team briefings and contributing to goal-setting discussions
- Assisting with the coordination of event logistics, team positioning, and site organisation
- Shadowing senior team members to understand how performance feedback and coaching is delivered
- Helping onboard and mentor new starters through practical guidance and example-led leadership
- Identifying areas for improvement within campaigns and contributing ideas to increase efficiency and results
You will gain first-hand insight into how live campaigns are managed, scaled, and continuously optimised — not just how they are delivered.
Progression Opportunity
This trainee position is structured to provide progression into one of four core management areas:
- Team Coordination – Supporting daily team structure, attendance, and morale
- Campaign Oversight – Assisting with performance tracking, site planning, and operational organisation
- Performance Mentoring – Coaching new team members to improve communication and results
- Leadership Responsibilities – Taking ownership of small teams and contributing to strategic growth
Advancement is based on preference and performance, structured around consistent results, professionalism, and initiative. The development plan is transparent and milestone-driven, allowing you to understand exactly what is required to progress.
