About the Role
We are currently recruiting reliable, enthusiastic, and adaptable Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of primary schools in Denbighshire. These flexible roles are ideal for candidates seeking varied experience, work-life balance, or the opportunity to work in different school settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Support class teachers with teaching and learning activities
- Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning
- Assist with classroom preparation and organisation of resources
- Support pupils' behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing
- Adapt to different school environments and follow school policies and procedures
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
What We're Looking For
We value transferable skills and experience that can support children’s learning and development. Suitable backgrounds may include:
- Personal or professional experience working with children or young people
- Experience in care, support work, youth work, social care, healthcare, coaching, mentoring, or community-based roles
- Experience supporting family members or individuals with additional learning needs, disabilities, or behavioural needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, caring, and supportive approach
- The ability to build positive relationships and work effectively as part of a team
- Adaptability, resilience, and confidence working in different environments
- Reliability, flexibility, and professionalism
A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) is beneficial but not essential for all roles. We encourage applications from candidates with relevant transferable skills and experience.
