Open to experienced technicians, and there is the possibility of training being offered to the right candidate who doesn't have the required experience or BPCA level 2 qualification.
The role is based in Central and Greater Manchester but may stretch to the wider Lancashire area
You would be required to provide service to a wide range of clients, domestic and commercial and you will also be required to seek and identify new business opportunities, and recommend and sell to our existing client base and new customers.
· Carry out inspections and treatments to both commercial and domestic clients for a wide range of pests.
· Have a good standard of English both written and verbal so that you can write legible, meaningful reports, and communicate them to the client.
· Be able to work on your own initiative and organise your day’s work around the contract work and additional call-outs as they arise.
· Actively seek and sell new and additional works
· Be able to work as part of a team when carrying out bird proofing works and installing fly screens
· Be willing to work away from home if necessary
· You will be expected to collect payments, sometimes in cash and be accountable for the monies.
· You will be required to cover at weekends on a rota basis of one weekend in a 3 week period.
· Minimum of 1 years pest control field experience - preferred
· Be qualified to BPCA or RSPH level 2 in pest control - preferred
· Have a full driving licence and no more than 3 points
· Be computer literate in word processing
· Be enthusiastic, confident and enjoy dealing with people
