Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Wash, dry, and store kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks.
- Help with the organisation of stock and supplies, ensuring that items are stored correctly.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential.
