Headteacher
We are working closely with an independent group of SEMH schools in Greater Manchester, who are seeking a dynamic Headteacher to lead one of their small, nurturing sites.
There are Headteacher opportunities within both Tameside and Northenden sites, for leaders experienced within both Primary and Secondary SEMH. This is a special chance to be instrumental in the strategic growth of one of the schools, working alongside a close-knit executive leadership team to drive the vision and ethos of this child-centred group.
As Headteacher, you will utilise both operational and strategic expertise, ensuring a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment to ensure all children can thrive, engage with education and reach their potential.

Job specification:
· Full-time, permanent Headteacher position (at one of the two sites)
· Tameside school: 11-14 years, Northenden school: 5-11 years
· Oversee development and implementation of policies and procedures
· Ensure a child-focused, trauma-informed learning environment
· Provide leadership and mentorship to a full staff team of SEMH specialists
· Salary up to £68,000, start ASAP (notice period dependent)
Person specification:
· QTS/QTLS essential
· Experience as a Senior Leader within a specialist education environment, particularly SEMH
· School improvement expertise
· Confidence to lead on all aspects of QA, compliance, Ofsted and policies
· Work alongside, and be closely supported by, members of the central leadership team, including your Executive Headteacher and Director of Education
