MG Industries Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Part-Time Accountant to join our team in Grimethorpe.
This is a 3-day-per-week position, normally 9:00am–5:00pm, although we can offer some flexibility with working hours where needed.
The successful candidate must be proficient in Sage 50 and payroll and confident managing the day-to-day accounting requirements of the business.
Salary is negotiable and will be dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining company accounts using Sage 50
- Processing payroll accurately and on time
- Managing purchase and sales ledgers
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT preparation and submissions
- Credit control and supplier payments
- Producing financial reports
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records
- Supporting management with general financial and accounting matters
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 – essential
- Previous payroll experience – essential
- Previous accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Reliable and professional approach
