This is far more than a purchase ledger role.
You'll become an integral member of our Finance team, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business across purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations, credit control and month end processes.
You'll work closely with suppliers, customers and colleagues, helping to ensure everything runs accurately, efficiently and on time.
No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, learning new skills and making a real impact.
You'll be involved in:
✔ Purchase Ledger processing
✔ Sales Ledger support
✔ Bank reconciliations
✔ Credit Control assistance
✔ Month end support
✔ Processing invoices and financial transactions
✔ Maintaining accurate financial records
✔ Resolving supplier and customer queries
✔ Supporting process improvements across Finance
✔ Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business
We're looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

Comfortable working with numbers and financial data

A confident communicator with great customer service skills

Positive, proactive and eager to learn

Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
-
A genuine team player

Experience in an accounts, purchase ledger or sales ledger role (desirable but not essential)

Good Excel skills

Experience using accounting software (Sage Intacct would be advantageous)

AAT qualification (or studying towards one) is desirable... but if you're keen to learn, we'll support you.
