Overview
The job will involve a mixture of container transport, curtain siders and flatbed trailers.
Steder Group operate mainly in the Central Belt of Scotland but also cover UK wide work based on the needs of our customers. We expect our drivers to be flexible to suit the needs of the business.
We operate a 1 vehicle 1 driver policy.
Guaranteed 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 6am & 6pm.
Over-time is payable outwit these hours & salary is paid monthly.
Shift start & finish times will be based around driver’s hours and also business needs.
Generous Staff Bonus paid twice per year.
What you will need
Current Clean HGV Class 1 licence
Current DCPC card
Digital Tachograph driver card
Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns
Good geographical knowledge
A positive, can do attitude
High attention to detail/excellent communication skills
Physically fit (some manual work may be involved)
