Duties
- Carefully pick items from inventory based on order specifications using warehouse management systems
- Pack products securely, ensuring they meet quality standards and are protected during transit
- Load and unload shipments efficiently using mechanical tools such as forklifts when necessary
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, verifying quantities and product details
- Stock shelves and organize inventory to optimize space and facilitate smooth operations
- Conduct quality control checks to identify damaged or defective items before packing
- Assist with materials handling tasks, including heavy lifting and moving products within the warehouse environment
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is a plus; certification is advantageous
- Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of warehouse operations enhance your effectiveness in this role
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
