Venn Group have been approached by a Charity and would like to introduce the following position available:
Position: Crisis Recovery Worker
Location: Barnsley
Rate: £14.24 per hour including holiday pay
Length: 2 months initially
Hours: 6pm - 11pm between Thursday and Monday
Key Responsibilities include:
- Support individuals in mental health crisis within a recovery-focused service
- Answer incoming calls from service users and professionals providing timely and appropriate support
- Deliver one-to-one sessions tailored to individual needs and recovery goals
- Facilitate group support sessions to encourage peer connection and shared learning
- Respond calmly to distress and de-escalate challenging situations using appropriate techniques
Essential Criteria:
- Enhanced DBS (Adult & Child)
- Knowledge of Mental Health and ideally work experience within a crisis recovery setting
- Driving license with access to your own vehicle preferred
