Part-time Nanny — Barbican/Clerkenwell
A warm family based near Barbican/Clerkenwell are looking for a mature, experienced nanny to care for their 7.5-month-old daughter on a part-time, long-term basis.
This would suit a confident, nurturing nanny with excellent baby experience, ideally someone who has grown-up children of their own and enjoys working with infants in a calm, supportive home environment.
Schedule
The family are initially looking for three mornings per week, ideally around 9:00am–12:00pm/1:00pm.
They may also consider two full days per week for the right candidate, particularly if that schedule is a better fit.
The role is intended to be a regular weekly commitment, with the possibility of starting on an initial short-term contract, for example three months, with a view to extending.
Duties
The nanny’s main responsibility will be caring for the baby and supporting her development. Duties will include:
- Providing attentive, safe and nurturing care
- Playing with the baby and supporting age-appropriate development
- Tummy time and general baby activities
- Keeping the baby safe and well-supervised at all times
- Supporting the baby’s daily routine
- Light housekeeping related to the home and baby, where time allows, such as tidying, laundry or helping keep things organised
The family may also occasionally ask for ad hoc babysitting, if the nanny is available.
Candidate requirements
The family would love to find someone who is:
- Mature, calm and highly reliable
- Experienced with babies
- Confident caring for a child under one
- Warm, gentle and engaging
- Looking for a regular, long-term part-time role
- Ideally already working locally or able to travel easily to Barbican/Clerkenwell
Rate
£22-25 gph (DOE)
Pay: £22.00-£25.00 per hour
