Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods from production to delivery. This includes dealing with planning and scheduling imports from around the world.

Duties
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, including scheduling and arranging transportation, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Key responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing transportation management systems to track and manage shipments
- Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Analyzing and optimizing supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, shipment status, and delivery times
- Conducting quality control checks on shipments to ensure compliance with company standards
- Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues related to delivery or product quality
- Collaborating with other departments, such as production and procurement, to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations into the overall business process
Experience
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. They should be familiar with transportation management systems and have a strong understanding of logistics operations, including shipping and receiving. Experience with 3PL providers and transportation companies is also beneficial. In addition, the candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
