We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our electronic prescribing and medicines administration (ePMA) team.
To provide clinical expertise on the maintenance, development, improvement and change for Cerner electronic prescribing system and administration system.
To co-ordinate e-prescribing and medicines administration training for doctors, pharmacy and other staff groups across the Trust to help ensure educated and informed end users.
To provide e-prescribing and medicines administration expertise & support to Imperial doctors, nurses, pharmacy, ICT and other staff via semi-formalised helpdesk/email, bleep or phone
To work with senior leadership on arising issues to ensure that ePMA system is fit for purpose and suitable for use across the Trust.
To support senior leadership in the management and co-ordination of ePMA services for all sites at Imperial in line with Trust priorities and pharmacy strategic objectives.
To provide on-site in-hours and out of hours support for upgrades to software and hardware for Cerner e-prescribing and medication administration system. To provide on-call support at implementation.
To assist with projects involving implementation, optimisation, governance, improvement, quality & safety for Cerner e-prescribing and medication administration system. To convey and promote benefits of ePMA and ensure any implementation is carried out in an effective and safe manner.
