J&J Wilson are a company that specialises in operating supermarkets on holiday parks. With 80+ shops around the country. We are currently looking for a shop assistant for our shop located at Pendine Sands Holiday Park. This will include some weekend shifts. The position is a summer seasonal job, and will run until the start of Sept . Some lifting is required and the shop is busy so you will spend a lot of time on your feet.
Job Summary:
You must be Over 18 due to Age related sales. I.E. Alcohol and tobacco.
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Shop Assistants to join our team. Duties will include serving customers on the checkout, restocking shelves, assisting with delivery's, some cleaning and other general shop duties.
The ideal candidate will have great customer service skills, and the ability to multitask. You must be reliable and able to travel to and from the site.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail role would be helpful, but training will be given.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and other retail software would be useful.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles
