The Role:
We’re serious about our coffee — so we’re looking for a passionate barista who can deliver consistently great drinks and bring energy to the front of house. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of coffee and food items, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry while working in a vibrant setting.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing high-quality coffee (espresso-based drinks)
- Dialling in grinders & maintaining coffee standards
- Supporting front-of-house service during busy periods
- Keeping the coffee station clean and organised
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Work efficiently under pressure during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience
- Previous barista experienceis desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safetystandards is advantageous.
- Experience in servingcustomers in a hospitality environment is beneficial.
- Basic food preparationskills are preferred.
- Good time managementskills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
