We are looking for energetic, dependable Bartenders and Floor Staff to join our team at Elephant & Barrel in Stockwell.
Our venue gets fast-paced, especially on peak service nights and matchdays. Key Responsibilities
- Beverage & Food Service: Prepare and serve draught beers, wines, spirits, cocktails, and soft drinks quickly and accurately while adhering to food safety standards.
- Floor & Table Service: Deliver prompt table service, clear glasses efficiently, and keep the main trading floor and seating areas clean and presentable.
- High-Volume Pacing: Handle busy rushes and peak trading hours without sacrificing service standards or speed.
- Till & Cash Handling: Process card and cash payments accurately using POS terminals.
- Opening & Closing Duties: Execute thorough opening setups and closing clean-downs to maintain venue standards.
- Team Operations: Work seamlessly alongside management and floor colleagues to keep service flowing smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- Work Ethic & Reliability: Strong attendance, punctuality, and a proactive attitude during busy periods.
- Composure Under Pressure: Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and stay organized when the venue is full.
- Communication Skills: Clear, friendly communication with guests and team members.
- Experience: 2+ years in a pub, bar, or high-volume hospitality setting is preferred, but enthusiasm and a strong willingness to learn are most important!
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and key trading sessions.
