Loco Lime is opening at Helch Market, Winchester’s new indoor street food market, and we’re looking for reliable Line Chefs / Chef de Parties to join the opening kitchen team.
We’re a chef-led Mexican-inspired street food brand. The food is fast, fresh, and made properly, fresh prep, bold flavours, clean sections, and consistent service. This is not fine dining, but it is a proper kitchen with proper standards.
This role would suit someone who has worked in a busy kitchen, street food setup, grill section, QSR kitchen, restaurant, pub kitchen, or high-volume food operation.

What You’ll Do
- Prepping fresh ingredients before service
- Cooking and finishing menu items to spec
- Running your section during busy periods
- Keeping your station clean, organised, and stocked
- Working quickly without dropping standards
- Following food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures
- Supporting the team with prep, close-down, and daily kitchen tasks
What We’re Looking For
- Previous kitchen experience
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
- Good basic prep and cooking skills
- A clean and organised way of working
- A positive attitude
- Good timekeeping
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
You do not need Mexican food experience, we can train the menu. What matters most is reliability, pace, cleanliness and attitude.
