We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Clinical Physiologist specializing in Neurophysiology to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of neurophysiological tests, including electroencephalograms (EEGs), nerve conduction studies, and evoked potentials, to assist in diagnosing neurological disorders.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as CT (Computed Tomography) scanners and other imaging modalities relevant to neurophysiology assessments.
- Accurately record, analyze, and interpret complex physiological data while ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Collaborate closely with neurologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic insights.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results, patient histories, and procedural notes in compliance with clinical guidelines.
- Ensure all procedures are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Stay current with advancements in neurophysiology techniques, including developments in mammography and related imaging technologies, to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
- Support patient preparation by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout testing processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Clinical Physiologist with specialization in Neurophysiology or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to neurodiagnostic procedures.
- Proficiency in operating CT scanners and other neuroimaging equipment; familiarity with mammography is advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of neurophysiological testing protocols and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, team members, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant certifications or licensure in clinical physiology or neurodiagnostics are preferred.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical setting.
