Pharmacy Dispenser – Full-Time
We are looking for a reliable, experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team.
This is a senior-level dispensing role and would suit an experienced Pharmacy Dispenser who has previously worked in a busy dispensary in a senior or team-leader capacity. The successful candidate should be confident taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the dispensary, supporting colleagues and maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency and patient care.
Experience using the TITAN PMR (Patient Medication Record) pharmacy system is essential. Candidates must be confident and experienced in using TITAN PMR as part of their daily dispensing duties.
Please do not apply if you do not hold a Level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser qualification or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years' pharmacy dispensing experience is preferred, with previous dispensary team-leader experience highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with legal, professional and pharmacy standards.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day organisation and smooth running of the dispensary.
- Assist the pharmacist with the preparation, assembly, packaging and labelling of medicines.
- Support and guide other members of the dispensary team and help maintain efficient workflow.
- Use the TITAN PMR system confidently and accurately for dispensing, patient records, prescription processing and related pharmacy tasks.
- Maintain accurate patient records and complete all necessary documentation.
- Manage stock levels and regularly check medication expiry dates.
- Provide friendly, professional and courteous service to patients.
- Respond appropriately to medication-related queries and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist when required.
- Carry out administrative duties, including data entry and maintaining patient information.
- Follow pharmacy SOPs and ensure all work is carried out safely and accurately.
- Help maintain high standards of dispensary organisation, accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality, health and safety, and patient care.
- Work effectively as part of the pharmacy team in a busy environment.
- Act as a senior member of the dispensary team, taking initiative and helping resolve day-to-day operational issues.
Skills & Experience
- Level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser qualification – essential.
- Minimum 3 years' pharmacy dispensing experience – preferred.
- Previous dispensary team-leader experience – highly desirable.
- Strong experience using the TITAN PMR pharmacy system – essential.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate that they have used TITAN PMR regularly in a previous pharmacy role.
- Experience working in a busy community pharmacy dispensary.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to take responsibility for dispensary workflow and support junior members of the team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced pharmacy.

This is an experienced, senior-level dispensary position. We are particularly interested in candidates who have previously worked as a senior Pharmacy Dispenser, dispensary supervisor or pharmacy team leader and are confident taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a dispensary.
Experience using TITAN PMR is essential. Candidates without previous hands-on TITAN PMR experience are unlikely to be suitable for this position.
