Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within private residences and commercial properties. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing essential cleaning services that contribute to the comfort and wellbeing of our clients. Prior experience in janitorial or hotel cleaning is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who take pride in their work and pay attention to detail. Someone with the means to travel by vehicle aswell.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces to a high standard
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly
- Maintain organisation of cleaning materials and report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment
- Assist with laundry and organisation of linen when required
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Occasionally assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet or window cleaning
- Provide excellent customer service by respecting clients’ privacy and preferences
Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
- Basic cooking skills are considered a plus for roles involving meal preparation or assistance with household chores
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a good work ethic
- Experience in hospitality or similar environments is advantageous but not mandatory
